Big Changes – Little Garbage
In November of 2008, the Town of Perth made big changes to their waste program. These include:
- Launching a GreenBin Curbside Organics Program
- Re-Opening the Recycling Depot, now at the Perth Landfill Site
- Changing garbage collection days
- Collecting garbage during the day
- Changing garbage collection frequency to every second week
This will extend the landfill life, reduce greenhouse gases, and provide a level of service that residents can be proud of!
